Akavar 20/50

A lot of diet pills claim an X amount of pounds lost in X number of days; but, Akavar 20/50 dares to claim what other diet pills dare not: “Eat All You Want and Still Lose Weight.” Really?! Too great to be true? Let’s find out how Akavar scores.

What is Akavar 20/50?

Akavar 20/50 sounds like every dieter’s miracle pill. Its manufacturer, Dynakor Pharmacal, boasts a secret patented European formula that acts as a superlative caloric restrictor. As a purported top-notch diet suppressant, it ups your satiety level; consequently, you end up eating much less even while “eating all you can.” This is the premise behind the Akavar 20/50 marketing campaigns. Akavar 20/50’s official website further claims that you can lose weight without any diet or exercise regimens. It points to an official study in which 23 out of 24 participants in the Akavar control group lost a significant amount of weight. All those in the group who continued to take this supplement for one year never experienced a weight gain rebound. What’s more, it seems like Akavar 20/50 is also capable of spot reduction. According to their website, “you literally pull excess fat from all over your body, including your waist, hips, thighs, and buttocks (the body’s natural fat storage sites)…” With all these claims that leave all other diet supplements in the dust, you’d ask…

What’s In A Pill?

Akavar has 25 mg. of vitamin B6 , 100 mg. of magnesium and 1,140 mg. of its proprietary blend containing yerba mate, trimethylxanthine (caffeine), guarana seed, damiana, green tea leaf, ginger root, kola nut, schinsandra fruit, scutellaria root, Tibetan ginseng root, cocoa nut, jujube fruit and thea sinesis leaf. Aside from caffeine being actually listed as trimethylxanthine, there are a number of ingredients in the blend that contains caffeine as well. These are yerba mate, guarana, kola nut and green tea leaf. As the amounts aren’t mentioned, there is no indication of how much caffeine is present in the product. Caffeine sensitive dieters should be careful with this supplement.

The Lowdown on Akavar 20/50:

The official website also does not offer any explanation as to how each ingredient works to promote healthy weight loss in the body. All you get are fantastic claims that seem outlandish and even counterproductive to healthy living. Eat all you can and still lose weight? If their premise that caloric restriction makes you eat less even if you binge, then the same can be said for all diet pills, which are all diet suppressants. Moreover, if its hype stating that it “ literally causes excess fat to be pulled from bulging parts of your body” were true, it should put liposuction out of business. Akavar 20/50 sounds like a miracle pill. If this were indeed the ultimate fat cure requiring no diet and exercise, this supplement should now be gaining worldwide attention and adulation. Its maker should also be up for the Nobel prize. But what do we see and hear? There have been numerous complaints and scathing reviews about the product. It seems this diet supplement is stuffed to the gills with caffeine and caffeine-related substances. There have been numerous reports on caffeine overdose symptoms like nausea, copious sweating and diarrhea. The complaints have given rise to a class action lawsuit by The United States District Court in Utah. Notice of the lawsuit, namely Miller vs. Basic Research, LLC, et. Al., Case No. 2:07-CV-871, is being issued to all who have purchased Akavar 20/50. Basic Research here is said to be Dynakor Pharmacal’s previous name. The court seeks to establish the fraudulence, deceptiveness and misleading intentions of the manufacturer’s advertising and marketing slogans. The lawsuit charges Akavar’s manufacturer of claims without clinical trials evaluated by certified doctors. The trial is set to begin on September 10, 2012.

The Bottom Line:

Don’t be tempted by their 100% money-back guarantee. It is easy for a company to take your money and make it difficult for you to get it back. What’s more, if you value your health, keep away from Akavar 20/50. With dubious claims, who knows what’s really in the supplements? There are many other good and healthier diet supplement options out there. We recommend you look into Phentramin-D. It doesn’t promise ultra-fast weight drops nor does it allow you to throw diet and exercise out the window; rather, it assists you in losing weight at a good pace while you work out and make the right food choices. Simply remember, if a product sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
